Hi, I’m Thaisla, and I’m here to read a text about my trip to Campos do Jordão.

I have never traveled to another state; all the cities I’ve visited so far are from São Paulo. I have a dream to visit many places in Brazil. I love the diversity of culture and the nature of my country.

Also, I wish to visit other places around the world. In 2018, I had the opportunity to go to Campos do Jordão-SP, it was a trip with my friends, and I had already expected for years to visit this fantastic place.
The rainy and cold weather, the view of the mountains, and the city’s charm enchanted me, but it was also a sunny day, and we were able to intensely enjoy every moment during the trip.

We stayed in a simple and very rustic hotel, located in front of a well-known grove of the city, a tourist spot there, the Grove of Silence ( O Bosque do Silêncio). We visited some chocolate, cheese, and beverage factories. We went to Campos do Jordão’s most famous neighborhood, Vila Capivari, well known for being a neighborhood with many typical local restaurants, patisseries, bars, and chocolate shops. We saw bands performing in the square of that same village, we walked a lot!

On a Saturday afternoon, we visited one more tourist spot from Campos do Jordão, the Amantikir Garden (Jardim Amantikir); it is a park composed of a set of gardens from around the world amid the exuberant nature of the Serra da Mantiqueira, forming a beautiful landscape. Campos do Jordão is a beautiful and attractive city, although there is an evident social inequality.
